

Buderim Bowls Club is situated in beautiful, quiet surroundings on Buderim Mountain at the centre of the Sunshine Coast, within easy distance of the beaches at Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland and Maroochydore. Two excellent synthetic greens cater for men and women bowlers of all ages.
Social Membership Although the club is renowned as a bowlers' bowls club, social members are welcome to enjoy the bar facilities and all club social functions
The Clubhouse, between the two greens, provides ideal viewing of both greens. The now air-conditioned dining area and kitchen extend into a comfortable bar and lounge area. The facilities are available for hire for special occasions such as weddings and birthdays and by other community groups. They are regularly used for meetings by organisations such as the Probus Club of Buderim, Buderim Lions and National Seniors Australia - Buderim Branch.
Social functions include a regular Friday night carvery and several dinner parties, we have various social functions throughout the year. See the social functions page for more details.
The weekly bowls program consists of practice roll-ups on Monday afternoons and men's, ladies' or mixed competitions on each other day of the week. See the Weekly Bowls page. Both men and ladies play pennant competitions in the Sunshine Coast District Bowls Association. Qualified coaches are in attendance at all scheduled roll-ups and beginners are most welcome. Coaching is free. Prizes are awarded to successful teams in social competitions.
Visiting social bowls clubs make annual visits for Sunday lunch, a game of fours, afternoon tea and a very friendly day out in beautiful surroundings. Other interested clubs are welcome. Ring or email the club.
Club championships are held for men's, ladies' and mixed competitions.
Major annual tournaments include the Men's Invitation Fours. Sunshine Coast District Championships are also held at the club.
Inter-Club Competitions Both men's and ladies' teams are entered in pennant competitions in the Sunshine Coast District.
In summer, teams are also entered in the Super Challenge and the Sunshine Coast District Bowls Association Mixed Night League. Lights have now been installed on the front green and both pennant and social games are now being played at night. Both men's and ladies Super Challenge teams have advanced to the sectional finals in their divisions.
State of Origin An annual mixed fours fixture pitting those born in Queensland against the "aliens" born elsewhere.
Fees include annual membership fees and green fees for matches, including morning or afternoon tea. Social membership is only $5, allowing members access to the bar facilities and all social functions.
